How it works
Please note: you cannot make or pay for bookings on behalf of someone else. Bookings can only be made and attended by yourself.
Search "Core Concepts Pilates" in the Discovery app to find us. See our News page for more.
Core Concepts uses Octiv, our online booking and payment system.
Bookings are managed via Octiv, which requires credits.
Credits load instantly, and you can book your next class or session right away.
You can access our Core Concepts Online Library through Octiv:
Use the calendar to revisit past recordings. Videos are available Monday to Friday.
Recommended equipment: 1–2 spiky balls, a Theraband or hand towel, a balance pad or firm pillow, a foam roller or rolled-up bath towel, a chair (without armrests), and a broomstick. Not all items are used in every class. If you need equipment, ask us in the studio.
Packages stay within their chosen format. Mat and Reformer credits can only be converted into Reformer Core Collective packages, which cover both class types.
Subscriptions cannot be converted (refunded if applicable).
As a once-off courtesy, credits may be converted if:
This is a once-off gesture, subject to approval, to keep studio flow consistent while offering flexibility.
Credits linked to your package automatically deactivate at midnight as the expiry date begins, so they cannot be redeemed on that day.
Our packages have set expiration dates to keep things fair and consistent for all members, and to ensure accurate reporting for both members and the studio. We understand life can interrupt your plans, so as a once-off courtesy we may offer a short extension under certain conditions:
When you link your card to your Pass account (the Reformer Core Collective Pass), your Octiv subscription works just like Netflix. After signing up, your monthly payment is processed automatically for the length of your contract — no reminders or manual payments needed.
For example, with the Reformer Core Collective (10 classes / month · 12-month):
How to link your card in Octiv:
Yes — Octiv uses Paystack, a PCI-certified gateway with encrypted transactions and fraud protection. You'll confirm payments with an OTP, banking prompt, or in-app approval, giving you bank-level security.
For extra safety, avoid saving card details on your phone.
Email address is invalid — remove the space at the end of the email (this usually happens when selecting an address from an autocomplete menu).
Transaction cannot be processed at this time – invalid service parameters — the bank has blocked payment after several unsuccessful attempts. To resolve, contact the studio to generate a new invoice. Before paying again, check with your bank that "3D Secure" is activated on your card, or choose another card or payment option (e.g. Instant EFT or SnapScan). Check Paystack status here.
